Westfield Day Nursery is a unique multiple award-winning Nursery School and Out of School Club in the Georgian market town of Easingwold, between York and Thirsk in rural North Yorkshire.
We are proud to be the only childcare provider in North Yorkshire to have won both Investor in Children and Investor in People awards - proving that we take equally good care of our children and our staff!
Ofsted has just given us the most fantastic inspection report - including an 'Outstanding' grading for our healthy home cooked food! The inspector said the children behave in exemplary fashion, are highly valued as individuals, and the nursery is extremely well organised.
Owned and managed by a qualified infant teacher, we are celebrating our 17th anniversary this year, and we continue to provide - as we have always done - first-class, friendly and stimulating childcare and early years education for children from two to five years old.
Out of School Club @ Westfield is our popular before and after school club for children up to the age of 11 - Maureen our minibus picks up and delivers children from Easingwold Primary School every day at no extra charge.
All the staff at Westfield are fully-qualified in childcare and education with the temporary exception of Lisa who is currently studying for her level 3 in Child Care. The ground floor of the nursery is accessible to wheelchairs and the staff have wide experience of caring for children with special needs.
Our aim is simply to be the best in the area and to provide the highest standards of care and education for every child, whether they attend each day of for just a few hours a week.
