Club
Tribute Model of Trevethick's 'Catch Me Who Can' Locomotive
NOW RUNNING! - see catch me who can pages
Come and see us...
Located in the picturesque village of Kinver in Staffordshire,
the society has an extensive raised 2150 ft track catering
for both 5" and 3 1/2" gauges. A ground level 7 1/4"
track is now completed and ready for running on.
Visitors are most welcome and the society is open to
the public most Sunday afternoons from 14:00 until 17:00
between Easter and November. Young and old alike can
come and ride our scale models of steam and diesel locomotives
and trams or just come to take a look and ask a few
questions. During the winter the club house is
used for presentations and lectures (see Club Diary).
If you'd like to become involved in the society then
come down and say hello.
With the advent of a thriving and sometimes treacherous
secondhand and kit-built market in miniature steam locomotives,
the above is particularly relevant and we are always
looking for new members. Save yourself the heartache
of buying a piece of scrap and come join us. |

We
are only too willing to advise and model engineers just
LOVE to help pother people spend their money!!. See the
'Buying a steam loco?' page for more information.
Otherwise, why not just make us part of a grand day out, there's plenty to
do around and about the society. Kinver Edge nature
reserve is just minutes away by foot or car, where you
can explore the rock houses. If you're more of
a shopping person then take a ride over to Merry Hill,
about twenty minutes by car. There is also a junior
play area next to the society and numerous pubs that
serve food, beer or a just a coffee.
