Overlooked
by the imposing fells of Blencathra, Bowscale and Carrock and complemented by
the Caldew and Glenderamakin becks,
the parish is predominately a farming community but is also a very popular with
tourists.
Set
in the northern fells of the English Lake District, the Parish of Mungrisdale is
made up of eight hamlets –Mungrisdale, Bowscale, Mosedale, Heggle Lane,
Haltcliffe
Bridge, Hutton Roof, Murrah and Berrier.
