Welcome to PNFSOur aim is to preserve and develop the extensive urban and rural footpath network that exists within our area. As the oldest surviving footpath society in the UK we have over 100 years of experience and history to call upon on your behalf. All of our work is done by volunteers so, whether you are a rambler, a stroller, a fell walker or a dog walker we can help each other. Our work helps you to enjoy your walking and your support will assist our efforts to protect and improve the footpath network for everybody. We are currently the only regional walking based society that covers Derbyshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside that has ‘prescribed organisation’ status. |
